Writing, directing, acting, makeup application... sometimes it feels like I've done it all! There is always more to be done, though, and I want to keep working toward that dream of helping to create a film that is original, deep, fun, memorable, and causes people all over to have a conversation about it.
I wrote my first short story when I was 11 years old, and my first novel when I was 17. In 2025, I adapted my 2013 novel, "Bitches Ruin Everything," into the award-winning screenplay, "A Misnamed Fate". My first acting was in musical theatre, which I did a lot of during elementary and middle school. In high school, I directed a couple of short films for AP English projects, as well as wrote, produced, and co-starred in a re-adaptation of a "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast. I also began to study makeup application, and did many "makeovers" for friends and family.
In college, I rekindled my passion for directing and directed two plays, one of which I also served as sound/music director. Since then, I have continued to work in film, doing FX and beauty makeup for actors, musicians, short films, and web series, as well as serving as AD on a rock music video, and camera operator for a series of university lectures in England.
Most recently, I served as head makeup artist for the short film "Butterscotch", which was an Official Selection at the 2025 Los Angeles Shorts International Film Festival. I currently have multiple screenplays in the works, two of which have already received numerous selections and awards in different competitions and festivals.
