  • I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to the programmers and organizers of this amazing festival! The quality of the films selected were outstanding. Elegant proof that Black Filmmakers, producers and writers are not monolithic. I only wish we could have been at the festival in person and not virtually, due to the pandemic. Kudos to this festival for carrying on with the festival and not cancelling it! Well done. We had a good time! Looking forward to being at this festival in person within the next two years.

First, we would like to say Thank You for the amazing opportunity. Due to this pandemic we understand that the festival had to be done virtually. However, you guys still made it a wonderful experience. We are extremely honored and grateful for being apart of the Charlotte 10th Annual Black Film Festival. Thank You for selecting our film The Council and awarding it BEST Feature Film and Best Actor. We are taking home our Oscars 🙏🏾 See you next year! And CONGRATULATIONS for 10years of CHANGING LIVES AND IMPACTING THEM!!

  • First time submitting to CBFF but definitely won't be the last. During these difficult times, CBFF has managed to keep us all informed and kept the festival going virtually. It was an absolute pleasure taking part and the whole CBFF team should be very happy with the outcome. I can't wait to attend next year in person and I look forward to submitting another film in the future.
