After their BA graduate film (PENGUIN) went on to screen opening night at the Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival and internationally in USA and France, where he got an Honourable Mention ‘Best Original Screenplay’ for ‘PENGUIN’. Charlie also went on to be awarded a craft award for ‘Best Camera’ at the Royal Television Society Awards for their camera work on ‘PENGUIN’.
After Charlie’s success in student fiction filmmaking, he went on to study a Masters in Documentary Filmmaking and produced three films. ‘THE PEOPLE OF PONT-Y-PŴL’ being their final student film.
