I am a writer, DIY visual storyteller, and personal trainer living in Portland, Oregon. I am the author of several short fiction collections, including Slippery When Metastasized and the Splatterpunk Award-nominated This Is a Horror Book. I ventured into short films when a friend of mine, James J. Butler, started what became a 35-second micro film, The Unbearable Lightness of Crashing, which went on to screen at the PDX Motorcycle Film Festival in Portland, Oregon, and the MotoTematica Film Festival in Rome, Italy. I also run Biggy Sancho Books, a publishing platform for dog-themed children's books written and/or illustrated by wife, Kara Picante Muir.
