Chantel Kardous is a 2025 graduate from Boston University with a B.S. in Film & Television and minors in Business Innovation & Entrepreneurship and English. Concentrating on screenwriting, directing, and producing, she has independently written, edited, and published a portfolio of original writing, including screenplays and a novel. In collaboration with fellow BU students, she has written, edited, and produced scripts for professional film fraternity Delta Kappa Alpha, STUDS Studios, BUTV10, BUild Lab, and other Film/TV outlets on campus.
As an undergraduate, she became President and Founder of STUDS Studios, a student-run screenwriter's guild and production company that has collaborated with Blumhouse Productions for an online giveaway. Kardous serves as Showrunner, Director, and Head Writer of STUDS Studios' debut web series "NEW KID". She spent her Fall 2024 semester as a Development Intern at 101 Studios in Los Angeles. During Spring 2025, she became the Writer, Director, and Executive Producer of Delta Kappa Alpha's short film "Dog Funeral".
This fall, she is pursuing her MFA in Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles.
