Master in Documentary Film by ENAC UNAM. He has participated in the areas of production, direction, and scriptwriting of documentaries, fiction, and advertising. He has been a trainer, counselor, and evaluator at IMCINE for the ECAMC Fund, as well as an evaluator at FOCINE, and since 2010 he has taught Documentary Filmmaking and Production at different universities. He has been a jury member at the Monterrey International Film Festival and the Encuentro Cinematográfico Norte, both in Mexico.

He is the director of the documentary On January, the 28th, and Writing is Resisting; his interest is in social issues, in which the main characters face adverse situations imposed by a system that oppresses them.

He currently writes and directs documentaries for Canal 14 SPR, Mexico's largest public television channel.
