Catherine Stanley

Catherine is a screenwriter, playwright, and poet, having won awards in all three genres. Her two documentary films placed in both the Newport Beach Film Festival 2008 (Audience award) and the Orlando Film Festival, 2009. She founded Drama West Productions and screens new short films and stage plays at public venues in L.A. A resident of Palm Desert, Catherine has won the
Poetry Award for the Palm Springs Writers Guild (2016), and is a current member of the Desert Screenwriters Guild. Her script,
"Among Champions" was nominated for the CV Indie Film Awards, 2018. She has an degree in Journalism, and experience in most writing genres.
