Cate Jones is an award-winning American actress and indie filmmaker working professionally across the US since 2014. Born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma (a city known for high crime, and an Army base) the youngest of five, she traveled for six years serving in the U.S. Air Force before signing with a commercial talent agent to act on camera in 2014 and has since been in over 50 films. Her first year in the business, she started studying Film to become a better actor but in 2019, started writing and directing her own features. Her first film, “She’s the Eldest” was featured in Variety Magazine for winning Best Feature at NewFilmmakers LA among others and was acquired by Glass House Distribution. Her second Feature “Chicken House” won the Audience award at deadCenter Film Festival and Best Feature at Philly Unnamed Film Festival.
