Carson Lane is an award-winning screenwriter originally from Winston-Salem, NC. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
Her first-ever original feature-length screenplay, "Darling," won the Abraham Polonsky Undergraduate Award in Screenwriting from CSUN, won Honorary Mention at the 2019 Los Angeles CineFest, and is an official selection for the Rome Prisma Independent Film Awards. Her second screenplay, "Billie," also won the Abraham Polonsky Undergraduate Award in Screenwriting from CSUN, making her the first student to ever win the award twice.
Her WWII biopic feature script was a quarterfinalist in the Austin Film Festival.
