Caroline Dean (she/her) is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. She enjoys telling stories in surreal, theatrical, and fantastical worlds. Caroline earned a dual BFA in Dramatic Art and Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently finishing her MFA in Film Directing at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, Brooklyn College. She worked as a PA in New York City for several years on television shows such as Law and Order: SVU, The Blacklist, and Inventing Anna. Her directorial debut film Hermit Day premiered at the Chicago Underground Film Festival and was awarded with Best Experimental Film at London Rocks Film Festival. Caroline's next short film to enter the festival circuit is titled Welcome to Snugville. She is in post-production stages of her thesis film Mail-Woman-Lady-Girl. She looks forward to showing these short films to audiences and continuing to connect with fellow filmmakers.
