Carolina “del Sur” Gulledge is a Spanish-Venezuelan-American writer/director based in Brooklyn, New York. Since making her first short film at age 15 in her hometown near Dallas, Texas, she earned a BFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU Tisch.

While at NYU, Carolina began freelancing on independent film sets, most frequently as an Assistant Director or Script Supervisor. Carolina's work spans multiple mediums and languages, blending satire and sentiment in order to craft compelling narratives for both the screen and stage.

Carolina has professional experience in script development at entities such as Tubi, Playground Entertainment, and Wayward Films. Her original, NYU-produced stage play RADICAL CHIC premiered in May 2025. Stay tuned for the festival run of her independent short film, THE DREAMCATCHER.
