Carolin Harvey is a graduate of the Electronic Media & Film program at Towson University. In 2021, she wrote and directed "Prom Night," a psychological horror film about mental health and Covid-19, which has received several official festival selections. Notable awards include winning "Best Local Short" at the Soul 4 Reel Film Fest (Hyattsville, MD), the "Cranford Cougar Award" at the Cranford Film Fest (NJ), and a semi-finalist for "Best Horror Short" at the Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Fest (Winchester, VA). Carolin has been creating for as long as she's been alive: earlier works include entries at the Howard County Student Film Fest, "The Doppelganger" (3rd place win) and "Dreams" (Top 10 Finalist). "Motel" was her senior final film at Towson University, and looks forward to what's to come post-graduation.
