It has also been laureled as a semifinalist and quarterfinalist in other contests.

Carlos' writing career started after he attended some courses and workshops related with creative writing, screenwriting, directing and dubbing. Afterwards, he published 3 multi-genre tale books (De Conto a Romance published by Atlantic Books), wrote and produced dozens of sketches for a comedy animated web-series and lately he ventured on writing and submitting plays and scripts to competitions.

Professionally, Carlos is a full-time software engineer with an MSc in Informatics and Computing Engineering, who worked as a developer on major companies such as Microsoft or Critical Manufacturing (where he currently is) and won 2 national engineering awards. But whenever he has free time, he loves creating original stories.
