Carla Sacco is Artistic Director and Ambassador of Youth Day Global, an International Women Achievers Award recipient, Hollywood Music in Media Award nominee, CMT reality television star, a featured artist of Nobel Peace Prize nominated and United Nations affiliated World Academy of Arts, Literature and Media, VP of Heritage Canada funded Hometown Music Council (National Youth Music Council), a Youth for Human Rights International representative, International Peace Festival artist and advocate, the historical first female performer in Canada for International Men’s Day (on its 20th Anniversary, in support of gender equality and suicide prevention), Creative Director of the Fit Hop movement, and VP of Music Mentor Productions. Carla received the City of Toronto’s Award of Distinguished Citizenship for community service work in support of multiculturalism, honorary ACTRA membership for extensive contributions to the Canadian performing arts, a 4-year Governors’ Scholarship to McMaster University, the Top Broadcaster Award from the National Institute of Broadcasting, Little Miss Budapest designation (at 5 years of age), and Miss National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada designation (at 30 years of age). She holds a Master of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a PhD Honoris Causa in Christian Counseling, has volunteered for over 100 charitable organizations over the past quarter century, and she is a certified middle and high school teacher in Ontario and New York State. Over the past 20 years, Carla has been rated the #1 tribute artist internationally for various stage productions, having performed live for millions of people—fronting over 2500 concerts globally for crowds of up to 30,000 people (in locations such as Dubai, Japan, Russia, Finland, Sweden, London, Los Angeles, Manhattan, the Arctic, Alaska, and the Caribbean at venues such as Roy Thomson Hall, U.S. and Canadian military base camps, the Calgary Stampede, and the Paralympics), sometimes fronting 60-80 piece State Symphony Orchestras, with performances broadcast on national television in various countries (e.g. in the People's Republic of China, Canada, etc.). Carla was a cover model and spokesperson with Elite Model Management, a nationally syndicated radio jingle writer/performer for organizations such as the United Way, co-founder of the Power of Ideas Conference, social activist with non-profits such as the SIPO Foundation, host of Morning File 93.3FM, and is the official voice of the DMZ BusinessCast Podcast. Carla is also a singer/songwriter/music producer/award-winning video creator for Soul Righters (providing positive messages through inspirational music) and a multiple award-winning documentarian. Her 10-episode radio show with Olive Media will premier in 2021.
