I am in love with this festival! Unique and magnificent in every way, it brought together so many exceptional human beings and created a sense of community that one would think is impossible to achieve in such a short period of time.
With a fantastically grand opening gala and a vibrant closing party, the festival featured a vast variety of events throughout, including brilliant discussion panels, wonderful networking events in exquisite locations and a very special indigenous festival towards the end of the week. There were plenty of photo opportunities alongside a very special photoshoot that was made available for each filmmaker.
Our film In Symbiosis was shown as part of the Beautiful Planet Program, and it was a true honour to have been selected amongst this extraordinary array of important films that highlight the real issues plaguing societies today, and to be able to be there in person to celebrate this resistance together.
Thank you to the festival director and the entire, carefully selected team, who comprise the very heart and soul of this event, for bringing this beautiful festival to life!

I’m truly grateful to have had my film “April Departing” selected by The Cambodia International Film Festival.

The communication throughout the process was excellent—clear, responsive, and very supportive of filmmakers, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

Although I was really looking forward to attending in person, unfortunately the war in Iran made it impossible for me to travel. Despite this, I deeply appreciate the opportunity and the effort the festival team put into showcasing international work.

Thank you again for including my film in your program and for your dedication to bringing together filmmakers from around the world.

CIFF is a resilient festival and a very generous one (tickets for screening is free for example). The community is well present and the value is there. For a Cambodian from Canada, that festival is a must, a personal and important one. I had a beautiful experience. People are great, open minded, creative and want to connect with one another. Watching Cambodian films and short films was a delight. I was amazed by the talent.
