Calvin Bender is a Marine Corp veteran. He has been in the entertainment industry for as long as he can remember. After getting out of the Marines in 1995, he pursued audio engineering. In 2006 he graduated from radio broadcasting school and wrote commercial copy for various companies. Calvin moved from music to writing in 2011, where he wrote his first memoir about his life before and after he found a relationship with Jesus Christ. It was not a success. However, a great learning experience. It propelled him into the vast world of writing prose, and he didn't give up. Instead, Calvin went back to school to learn the fundamentals of writing to get out what was in his heart on paper with correct formatting.
Ashford University became his school of choice, majoring in English before transferring to Full Sail University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment. Since going to Full Sail, Calvin has turned his complete attention to the film industry.
