The International Festival of University Short Films ''CINESTESIA FEST' is an international cultural space that was born in 2017 at the Los Libertadores University Foundation, located in Bogotá, Cartagena, Colombia.

The main objective is to offer spaces to new audiovisual filmmakers and students affiliated to a University from any country in the world, to be able to exhibit their projects, generate ties of recognition and reflection, the training of audiences. It stands out, among other things, having international guests of high prestige such as the nominees for the Goya awards (Mario Campoy, Nacho Rui Pérez, David Desola, Jose Luis Pechorroman, Jonas Trueba) the Colombians (Harold trumpeter, Miguel Urrutia, Aida Morales, Santiago Henao, Jaime Manrique, Jose Alejandro González, Andrés Valencia, Laura Gutiérrez and Jimena Prieto) among others

The Festival annually takes place in the month of October in Bogotá and Cartagena, Colombia, granting the statuette called Kinesthesia recognition to international university talent.

El Festival internacional de Cortometrajes universitarios ''CINESTESIA FEST es un espacio cultural de carácter internacional que nace en 2017 en la Fundación Universitaria Los Libertadores, ubicados en Bogotá, Cartagena, Colombia.

El objetivo principal es ofrecer espacios a los nuevos realizadores audiovisuales y estudiantes adscritos a una Universidad de cualquier país del mundo, poder exhibir sus proyectos, generar lazos de reconocimiento y reflexión, la formación de públicos. Se destaca, entre otras cosas, contar con invitados internacionales de elevado prestigio como por ejemplo Los nominados a los premios Goya (Mario Campoy, Nacho Rui Pérez, David Desola, Jose Luis Pechorroman, Jonas Trueba) los colombianos (Harold trompetero, Miguel Urrutia, Aida Morales, Santiago Henao, Jaime Manrique, Jose Alejandro González, Andrés Valencia, Laura Gutiérrez y Jimena Prieto) entre otros

El Festival anualmente se desarrolla en el mes de octubre en Bogotá y Cartagena, Colombia, otorgando la estatuilla denominada Cinestesia reconocimiento al talento universitario internacional.

Rules & Terms

GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Registration is free
2. Entries may only be made through the media or channels of the festival (Film Free way and Fest Home). I don't know they will receive registrations outside the indicated platform.
3. The filmmaker, producer and/or person responsible for the registration may apply for more than one short film.
4. The product must be a student project created between 2023 and 2024.
5. Only short films that meet the general conditions of the festival will participate.
6. The university you represent must appear in the credits.
7. Short films with a time of 1 minute (Filminuto Category) and between 5 and 15 minutes (Short film Category) will participate in their different formats: fiction, documentary, animation, or the format that you want.
8. The project must be conceptualized in the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Environmental or Social concept.

MATERIAL SELECTION

- The selection of the shorts or audiovisual material will be made by a commission and curatorship, appointed by the direction of the national and international festival.
- The organization of Cinestesia will reserve the right to exhibit, in any media, fragments of the participating works for the purpose of promoting the festival.
- The festival may withdraw or discard at any time during the festival a short or audiovisual product that does not comply with the festival's standards or has provided false information at the time of registration.
- The act of registration for the Cinestesia university short film festival implies full acceptance of these regulations.
- If the short film has been selected, the director of the short film will be notified so that he can send a certification from the university that I corroborate that it was made in the indicated period and is an active student or recent graduate.
- The selected short films must have the download option for the official sample of the festival.

CONDICIONES GENERALES

1. La inscripción es gratuita.
2. Las inscripciones podrán ser realizadas solo por los medios o canales del festival (Film Free way y Fest Home). No sé recibirán inscripciones por fuera de la plataforma indicada.
3. El realizador, productor y/o responsable de la inscripción podrá postular más de un cortometraje.
4. El producto debe ser proyecto estudiantil creado entre 2023 y 2024.
5. Solo participarán cortometrajes que cumplan las condiciones generales del festival.
6. En los créditos debe aparecer la universidad que representa.
7. Participarán cortos con un tiempo de 1 minuto (Categoría filminuto) y entre 5 y 15 minutos (Categoría Cortometraje) en sus diferentes formatos ficción, documental, animación, o el formato que desea.
8. La temática vinculada para la 8ª versión del festival son los ODS (Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible), por lo cual, el proyecto debe estar enmarcado de acuerdo al concepto, Ambiental o Social.

SELECCIÓN DE MATERIAL

- La selección de los cortos o material audiovisual será realizada por una comisión y curaduría, nombrada por la dirección del festival nacional e internacional.
- La organización de Cinestesia se reservará el derecho de exhibir, en cualquier medio de comunicación, fragmentos de las obras participantes con fines de divulgación del festival.
- El festival podrá retirar o descartar en cualquier momento del festival un corto o producto audiovisual que no cumpla las nomas del festival o haya suministrado información falsa en el momento de inscripción.
- El acto de inscripción para el festival de cortos universitarios Cinestesia implica la plena aceptación de este reglamento.
- Si el cortometraje ha sido seleccionado, se le comunicará al director del corto para que envíe certificación de la universidad que corroboré que se realizó en el periodo indicado y es estudiante activo o recién egresado.
- Los cortometrajes seleccionados deberán tener la opción de descarga para la muestra oficial del festival.
