1. ORGANIZZATORI E PROMOTORI
Il CAUDIUM Film Festival è organizzato dall'Associazione Universale EMPATIA APS, in compartecipazione con il CENTRO STUDI CINEMATOGRAFICI.
2. OBIETTIVI
Sensibilizzazione sulle tematiche ambientali e della disabilità.
3. LUOGO - DATA
La terza edizione del Festival si svolgerà come sempre in Valle Caudina, nell'area interna della Regione Campania, nel mese di settembre 2026.
4. ISCRIZIONE
L'Iscrizione al Festival è a pagamento al costo di € 6.
Il concorso è dedicato al genere cinematografico del cortometraggio.
Il Festival è aperto a tutti, professionisti e non professionisti (autori), che abbiano compiuto 18 anni.
Possono partecipare solo Cortometraggi il cui tema è incentrato sull'Ambiente e la Disabilità.
Il Festival prevede l’ammissione alla selezione di opere nazionali e internazionali prodotte successivamente al 1° gennaio 2023, di durata non superiore ai 20 minuti.
L’iscrizione al Festival prevede la registrazione del film mediante il portale FilmFreeway all'indirizzo https://filmfreeway.com/CAUDIUMFILMFESTIVAL
I file dovranno essere in alta definizione in formato .mp4 o .mov h264 (max 20000kb per sec).
I registi dei cortometraggi potranno presentare una sola opera per la selezione.
Le opere in lingua straniera possibilmente dovranno essere sottotitolati in italiano.
Le iscrizioni sono aperte dal 01 Luglio 2026 al 30 Agosto 2026 notifica di ammissione entro il 10 Settembre 2026.
5. L’invio delle opere implica l’autorizzazione non in esclusiva agli organizzatori del Festival a diffondere e mettere a disposizione del pubblico - attraverso il proprio sito e con ogni altro mezzo o altra forma conosciuta le sequenze delle opere presentate, senza pretendere alcun compenso per gli autori delle stesse.
Con l'invio del cortometraggio, il mittente dichiara di essere titolare di tutti i diritti di utilizzo della stessa, che il contenuto dell'opera non viola le leggi vigenti e che l'opera non ha contenuti a carattere diffamatorio. In ogni caso l'autore solleva l'organizzazione da tutte le perdite, danni, responsabilità, costi ed oneri di qualsiasi genere che dovessero derivare dal contenuto della sua opera e dalla sua proiezione in pubblico. È a carico dell'autore l'eventuale tutela SIAE dell'opera ed il pagamento dei relativi diritti di rappresentazione in caso di utilizzo di repertorio musicale realizzato da terzi.
6. Le opere presentate per la selezione non verranno restituite e faranno parte dell'archivio del Caudium Film Festival.
7. La direzione del Festival coordinerà la selezione delle opere stabilendo in via definitiva i film e i video ammessi alla fase finale.
8. Le Opere finaliste verranno giudicate sia dalla giuria di esperti che da una giuria popolare, alla quale faranno parte ragazzi dai 14 ai 18 anni. I premi verranno assegnati solo alla presenza degli autori vincitori o di loro delegati.
9. Gli Autori autorizzano la proiezione dei propri film iscritti al Festival, negli istituti di istruzione primaria e secondaria per uso didattico, nonché per iniziative culturali e per finalità di promozione del Festival stesso. Altri utilizzi diversi avverranno nel rispetto della normativa vigente in materia di diritto d'autore, previa autorizzazione.
10. FILM SELEZIONATI
NOMINATION:
I registi dei corti che verranno selezionati per la fase finale verranno contattati dall’organizzazione e dovranno inviare on line;
- n.3 immagini tratte dal film (in formato jpeg – 300dpi)
- fotografia del regista (in formato jpeg – 300dpi)
FINALISTI:
Gli organizzatori del Festival garantiranno ai vincitori dei cortometraggi il pernottamento per partecipare alla manifestazione solo per la categoria di premi MIGLIOR CORTO AMBIENTE e MIGLIOR CORTO DISABILITA' Le spese di viaggio sono a carico dei partecipanti.
11. La direzione del Festival può assumere ogni utile decisione in relazione a quanto non previsto dal presente regolamento.
12. I partecipanti al concorso, attraverso l'iscrizione autorizzano l'Associazione Terramia Aps ai fini della Legge 675/1996, al trattamento dei dati personali e all'utilizzo del proprio nome e indirizzo per usi connessi alla manifestazione. Il titolare dei dati personali inviati sarà l'associazione. Ai sensi dell'art. 13 L. 675/96 i dati saranno a disposizione per ogni correzione o modifica relativa al loro utilizzo.
13. La richiesta di ammissione al Festival implica l'accettazione incondizionata del presente Regolamento. Per ogni controversia derivante dall'utilizzo delle opere filmiche, sarà competente il foro di Avellino (AV). In caso di controversia sul significato degli articoli del regolamento farà fede quello redatto in lingua italiana.

The CAUDIUM Film Festival is organized by the Associazione Universale EMPATIA APS, in partnership with the CENTRO STUDI CINEMATOGRAFICI.
2. OBJECTIVES
Raising awareness about environmental issues and disability.
3. LOCATION - DATE
The third edition of the Festival will take place, as always, in the Valle Caudina, in the inland area of the Campania Region, in September 2026.
4. REGISTRATION
Registration for the Festival requires a fee of € 6. The competition is dedicated to the short film genre. The Festival is open to everyone, professionals and non-professionals (authors), who are at least 18 years old. Only Short Films whose theme focuses on Environment and Disability may participate. The Festival provides for the admission to the selection of national and international works produced after January 1st, 2023, with a duration not exceeding 20 minutes. Registration for the Festival involves submitting the film via the FilmFreeway portal at https://filmfreeway.com/CAUDIUMFILMFESTIVAL Files must be in high definition in .mp4 or .mov h264 format (max 20000kb per sec). Short film directors may submit only one work for selection. Foreign language works should preferably be subtitled in Italian. Entries are open from July 1, 2026 to August 30, 2026; notification of admission by September 10, 2026.
5. Submission of the works implies non-exclusive authorization to the Festival organizers to disseminate and make available to the public—through their website and by any other means or form known—sequences of the submitted works, without claiming any compensation for the authors thereof. By submitting the short film, the sender declares to be the holder of all rights to use the same, that the content of the work does not violate current laws, and that the work does not contain defamatory content. In any case, the author indemnifies the organization against all losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and charges of any kind that may derive from the content of their work and its public screening. Any SIAE protection of the work and the payment of related performance rights in case of use of musical repertoire created by third parties are the responsibility of the author.
6. Works submitted for selection will not be returned and will become part of the Caudium Film Festival archive.
7. The Festival management will coordinate the selection of works, establishing definitively the films and videos admitted to the final phase.
8. Finalist works will be judged by both a jury of experts and a popular jury, which will include youths aged 14 to 18. Prizes will be awarded only in the presence of the winning authors or their delegates.
9. Authors authorize the screening of their films registered in the Festival in primary and secondary educational institutions for educational use, as well as for cultural initiatives and for purposes of promoting the Festival itself. Other different uses will take place in compliance with current copyright regulations, subject to authorization.
10. SELECTED FILMS NOMINATIONS: Directors of shorts selected for the final phase will be contacted by the organization and must send online:
- 3 images taken from the film (in jpeg format – 300dpi)
- photograph of the director (in jpeg format – 300dpi)
FINALISTS: The Festival organizers will guarantee overnight accommodation to the winners of short films participating in the event only for the award categories BEST ENVIRONMENT SHORT and BEST DISABILITY SHORT. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the participants.
11. The Festival management may take any useful decision regarding matters not covered by these regulations.
12. Competition participants, through registration, authorize the Associazione Universale Empatia APS for the purposes of Law 675/1996, to process personal data and to use their name and address for uses connected to the event. The data controller of the personal data sent will be the association. Pursuant to art. 13 of Law 675/96, the data will be available for any correction or modification regarding their use.
13. The request for admission to the Festival implies unconditional acceptance of these Regulations. For any dispute deriving from the use of film works, the Court of Avellino (AV) shall be competent. In case of dispute regarding the meaning of the articles of the regulations, the version written in the Italian language shall prevail.
