Looking to connect with fellow teen filmmakers? Want to screen your work publicly for audiences across Houston to be recognized? Want to win cash awards? Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH) invites you to submit your short film(s) to Teen Council’s teen film festival on April 25, 2024 for a night of film, food, and fun! Films will be evaluated by CAMH’s Teen Council on the basis of technical categories.

No fancy camera or editing software? No problem! Take advantage of available resources, like a phone and its native editing applications.

CAMH’s Teen Film Festival is looking for 2-8 minute short films centering the theme of identity:

- What environments or external influences does your self inhabit, and how does it affect your internal sense of authenticity?

- How have past versions of yourself contributed to your present identity?

- How do the facets of your being interact, cooperate, and contradict each other?
Selected films will be screened in a movie night featuring a short Q&A with the filmmakers, offering an opportunity to expand creative networks and knowledge.

Cash prizes in technical categories will be awarded.
