Established in 2015, Burien Film Festival is a three-day annual short film festival in Burien, Washington. The film festival was founded to celebrate local and international short film arts, and to shine a spotlight on Burien.
Burien Film Festival hosts an International Film Crawl. Four venues featuring the best international short films curated by arts writer T.S. Flock, writer for, and co-founder of, Vanguard Seattle.
BFF runs ancillary programs throughout the year.
* International Short Film Festival - Eight Best Of categories will be shown in our Virtual Film Festival , and, if this year allows, 28 short films to be shown in our International Film Crawl curated by T.S. Flock, arts writer for Vanguard Seattle. Five venues screen five curated film collections. Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Actor, Best Lighting, Best Sound, Best Screenplay, and Best Art Direction will be awarded (laurel).
* Hyperlocal Burien 4 - 7 min. Short Film Festival awards the top three films with cash awards.
