Bronwen Pailthorpe is a writer, director and actress whose work focuses upon the complexities of the queer experience, as well as centering female stories. Her debut short film, "Hindsight", won 'Best Cinematography' at the Yale Student Film Festival, as well as winning 'Best Student Film' at the April 2023 Future of Film Awards and being selected as one of 12 showcased films at the Panorama Film Festival. Her sophomore short film, "Roughly Seven Minutes" won 'Best Super Short Film' in the over-18 category at the Student World Impact Film Festival, highlighted from over 13,000 submissions. She is currently working on a pilot championing female rage ('Filling Up Hell'), as well as entering pre-production for her next short film.
