At heart, I am a story teller. I have worked as a photographer in over 30 countries, sailed around the world twice as the shipboard photographer for Semester at Sea, and pedaled a bicycle across the United States of America to raise money for WaterAid. In these strange days of 2020 I have found myself on the next great adventure - building an off-grid homestead in the vast Carrizo Plain, on Chumash land, within the Central Coast of California.
I remain... ever curious, ever expanding, ever grateful.
As a photographer, I am 20 years deep. I began my career, humbly, in January of 2001, and I specialize in lifestyle photography, commercial, events, landscapes and wildlife. As a filmmaker, I am deep within the production of my first feature-length documentary film,"Where There Once Was Water", a dive into the true love of my life... water. The film was crowd-funded, and all sights are set on the 2021 Film Festival circuit. As a Voice Artist, I work in radio as a "Big Voice", and have done on-air time, plus voice overs for commercial radio and Television.
As a Human, I want to listen. I want to actively participate in co-creating a world that truly serves us all. I lean towards love, equity, and restoration. I pray for water, and water for all. Water is Life. Water is Sacred. I am grateful and humbled by all the knowledge and stories that have been shared with me along the way.
