Performance is in my blood. I've been performing since I was intoxicated by the lights of my 2nd Grade Talent Show. The backspin at the end of our Ghostbusters lip-sync was stellar btw. From there, it snowballed into every theatre project and film I could get myself onto and, in college, I forewent theatre school, and started several punk bands with my buddies. I was the guy dancing and singing up front. I dabbled in tv and commercial work, but really wanted to rock, so I put it on the back burner. Eventually, I came home to roost and I started making films and teaching acting to people that don't know any better.
It's no question, that I've found my life's work. Whether it's in front of the camera or behind, I feel completely in my element. From writing, to producing, to directing, to performing, this is my life.
Most recently, I've played a creepy cult leader in M.Night Shyamalan's "Servant", co-starred opposite Cynthia Erivo in the upcoming film "Harriet" (the biopic of Harriet Tubman), co-starred opposite Jim Gaffigan as Greg in "American Dreamer", and co-starred opposite Alfre Woodard in the Netflix feature "Juanita".
