Brian is considered a leading historian and amateur filmmaker. He has created a series of short films about northern California cannabis culture and history. His short documentary film titled “The Secret Story: How Medical Cannabis was Re-Legalized in the US” has been screened at multiple film festivals and has won numerous audience favorite awards. With a deep understanding of the cannabis movement, Brian is considered a content expert and creator for media, television, exhibitions and museums.

He grew up in cannabis legacy country in northern California, and has traveled and lived around the world. Brian now resides in Sonoma County amongst the towering redwoods surrounded by cannabis cultivators and craft product makers. Inspired by the iconic cannabis pioneers and social justice movements that fueled the robust industry of today, Brian brings a unique perspective and immense passion to his work. He holds a BA in International Studies and speaks several languages.
