Yorgos Barbadenis was born in Alexandroupoli, Greece in 1996. He is a self-taught filmmaker and a multidimensional artist, who has created and directed a number of short films of various genres, such as fiction, fashion, musical and experimental, signing them always as BRBDENIS. He has also experimented with photography, which has influenced most of his filmography, and provocative post-modern abstract painting under the name DICKOUA. Following his studies in English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he continued with a Master’s Degree on Film Directing at the University of South Wales.
