Bratislava international film awards (BIFA) is international film festival that demonstrate excellence in the art of filmmaking.

Our mission is to push the boundaries, bring a unique artistic and cinematic experience from around the world.

We will welcome the best filmmakers from around the world to showcase their work on stunning cinema screens that will provide the perfect platform to see the films how they are meant to be seen.

Our goal is to present all the winners and nominated films in cinemas in Central Europe.

The next event will be organized in the hometown of the founders - Kino Lumiere (cinema smile).

The exact date (2022) will be published on this page on our social networks.

In addition to screenings, discussions are also planned to be organized in shorter periods.

In cooperation we have several local companies or studios.

We plan screenings where the spectators themselves become evaluators.

We appreciate every artist / creator who sends us their work. All works are changed and evaluated by a jury. Each month, the best works are awarded a diploma. Each winner is entitled to a trophy. At the end of the competition year, we will evaluate the total winner who wins 500USD cash.
