He received a scholarship to College (Morehead State University in KY) for Acting and did not take it. He joined the Marine Corps instead in 1992 and stayed for 21 years.
After retiring from the service, he opened his own martial arts academy and as of December of 2020, sold the Academy, though he still teaches there on occasion.
Owning a business, he found himself doing his own commercials and Public Service Announcements and thought he'd give acting another shot. This eventually led to Producing as well. His first film as an Actor and Executive Producer was "Turbo Cola", which would go on to win at 14 of the 16 film festivals it got in to and would win Best Indie Film of the Year (according to Film Threat) for 2023.
He is currently a film student at the Messiah University Film program.
