Brady Skye is an award-winning filmmaker based in St. Augustine, Florida with over 15 years of experience in film and television. As a writer, director, and editor, Brady has created over 2000 videos, from national TV commercials to long-form programs. He has collaborated with a number of ad-agencies and production companies serving as a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor.
Brady just completed his first feature-length documentary, Beyond the Ruins, receiving Best Documentary Feature at the 19th Orlando Film Festival and a nomination for an Anthem Award by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences. The film tells the story of two indigenous Maya families in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula who have managed to maintain their cultural heritage in the face of the 21st century, and explores what others could learn from them to improve their own quality of life.

“Hold on to what is good, Even if it’s a handful of earth. Hold on to what you believe, Even if it’s a tree that stands by itself. Hold on to what you must do, Even if it’s a long way from here. Hold on to your life, Even if it’s easier to let go. Hold on to my hand, Even if someday I’ll be gone away from you.”
