Bradford Queer Film Festival is a city wide celebration of film and storytelling from LGBTQIA+ people. We platform new filmmakers, show classic and hidden gems and promote the screening of queer stories.

We are for filmmakers and film lovers alike and alongside screenings we use food, parties and event cinema to bring together the community.

Rules & Terms

Entries are only accepted via FilmFreeway and must be available as h.264 .mp4 or pro res .mov

All films must be available to be screened in the United Kingdom and be free of licensing fees.

Filmmakers may submit no more than 2 films and those submitted may not be available online at time of the festival (excluding music videos)

All films in all languages must include closed captions in English, if your film does not have closed captions you agree by submitting to collaborate with BQFF on adding them.

Filmmakers must submit promotional stills and bios if selected.
