Come celebrate Boulder’s vibrant history at the Boulder Histories Film Festival.

Taking place at the foot of the iconic Flatirons in the historic Chautauqua Auditorium, BHFF screens short documentaries about Boulder County, focusing on the People, Places, and Preservation efforts in the region. This one day festival will feature three short film screening blocks, filmmaker Q&A’s, and jury and audience awards.

- Best Documentary by Subject (People, Places, Preservation)
- Best Student Film by Subject (People, Places, Preservation)
- People’s Choice by Subject (People, Places, Preservation)

Films must be created after 2005
Runtime no longer than 30 Minutes
Films must fit within one of the three categories:

- People (Documentaries focusing on people of Boulder County, living or historical)
- Places (Documentaries focusing on buildings, architecture, and environments in Boulder County)
- Preservation (Documentaries about individuals or organizations preserving historic buildings and places in Boulder County)
