This was an amazing festival! And thank you for showing How to Bury a Dog in your Canadian Reflections short series. The calibre of short films blew me away; the Creative Forum leading up to the festival is a MUST ATTEND for all film and tv makers. There were network executives and owners from production companies and just so many industry big wigs. Will definitely be back next year with or without a film. The rest of their festival programming was also amazing. Must attend even if you don’t have a film in the festival. The people running it were also very professional and helpful. The location was gorgeous, nestled at the foot of the mountain village.

I was blown away attending the festival with my feature film, the accommodations and organization were top notch. There was plenty of industry related forums and networking making it the perfect place to make a stop on a festival run, not to mention the scenery was incredible! Will definitely be making this festival a staple in my festival runs in the future, Highly recommend!

  • This is a great festival! We were fortunate enough to attend BMFF for the premier of our short film Cancer Kid. It was an excellent experience for all us.

Things are well run on the back end as well and communication from the team is clear. I recommend submitting your work.

Thank you for selecting my film 'Nix's Symphony!' These guys really know how to celebrate film. Unfortunately I couldn't make it in person, but they kept me updated leading up to the festival. It's a real honor for my film to have been part of this festival! Hoping to enter my next film to the 2025 festival!
