BPFF Eligibility

The Bloody Peach Film Festival accepts submissions from filmmakers worldwide.

All films must be submitted through FilmFreeway.

Films must have been completed after January 1, 2024

Works-in-progress will not be considered.

Films not in English must include English subtitles.

Categories & Length

Short Films: Under 40 minutes (including credits).

Feature Films: 40 minutes to 60 mins.

Accepted genres include fantasy, horror, and science fiction in all subgenres and styles (live-action, animation, experimental, hybrid).

Exhibition & Screening

Selected films will screen during the 2026 Bloody Peach Film Festival (May 1–3, 2026) in Atlanta, GA.

Exhibition formats may include digital cinema package (DCP), or digital file.

The festival reserves the right to determine the screening schedule and order.

Submission Guidelines

All entries must be submitted via secure online screener through FilmFreeway.

Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be submitted separately with its own entry fee.

Submission fees are non-refundable.

Press kits, trailers, and promotional materials are encouraged but not required at the time of submission.

Selection & Notification

Films are selected by the Bloody Peach programming team.

Selection does not guarantee an award.

Official selections will be notified by March 15, 2026.

By submitting, filmmakers grant the festival permission to use clips, stills, and promotional materials for marketing and press purposes.

Awards & Jury

Awards will be presented during the Bloody Peach Awards Show.

Categories may include Best Fantasy Film, Best Horror Film, Best Sci-Fi Film, Best Short, , and more.

The jury’s decisions are final.

Rights & Responsibilities

By submitting, filmmakers affirm they hold all necessary rights to their film, including music, images, and content.

The festival is not responsible for copyright violations or unauthorized use of intellectual property within submitted films.

Participation in the festival implies acceptance of all rules and terms.
