I shot my first film, It Looks Like Rain, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Women's Film Festival, by scripting it from three pages of my psychological novel of the same name with a 610-page length.
One night, when I was ten years old, I was caught up in the filming scene of the cinema world with Alfred Hitchcock's film "The Birds", which I watched from the doorway of my room. From that day on, opposite to the destructiveness of love; I live as a "movie lover" with its constructive, challenging, shocking and developing process. At the point where I decided to be interested in cinema professionally, that is, I took the exam three years ago to study at university and I won the Radio TV and CINEMA department of Istanbul University.
Pain is one of the things that bother me most in life. We don't see the pain, we don't want to see it, and we just judge it. We do not think ahead, we do not want to see the main truth, the truth that is not far away. Neither eating the egg nor judging a person who cheated on his wife/husband... There is no difference. We avoid looking in the mirror when we judge. This is what led me to make art, write books and shoot movies.
In addition, my feature film script named "REŞAT" in the Psychological Drama / Period / Biography genre has come to the production stage.
