After raising his twin daughters, Bil was compelled to start recording original songs, choosing 7 recently written from a catalogue of hundreds. Enlisting long time friend Sunny Erickson into an online collaboration, this album is now finished, and is available for streaming on most music streaming platforms.

In early April 2024, Bil suffered a detached retina in the right eye, and, as a result of surgery, quickly developed a cataract. This impairment prompted Bilzeye to start making videos to accompany songs on his new album, Blue Sand. Three videos have been completed (at the time of this writing), with 2 more in process, and 2 being written. The 3 completed videos were assembled on a 13inch Macbook, with newest footage shot on an iPhone7.
