With his short film "Behrupiya - The Impersonator," which had its premiere at the 54th International Film Festival Of India, Goa, Bhasker, a diverse creator, has received praise. He won the 10th RIFF (Jaipur) Best Director Critics Choice Award for his outstanding directing. A different piece, "Freedom Fighter," made its festival debut at the 28th Kolkata International Film Festival. It went on to win awards at a number of national and international film festivals, such as BOIFF, SiGNS, South Asian Short Film Festival, Hilltop Film Festival Of Divercity & Inclusion and CNFF. It also advanced to the semi-finals of the Serbest International Film Festival.
Bhasker co-wrote & associate directed the Hindi feature film "Bhor - 2021," which was directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh. Following its world premiere at the 49th IFFI, Goa, the movie was officially selected for over 25 National & International Film Festivals, including esteemed gatherings like the Ottawa Indian Film Festival Awards, the Cairo International Film Festival, the BIFF (Bengaluru), IFFM (Melbourne) and the Jagaran International Film Festival (Mumbai).
Later on, Bhasker was Assistant Director on the Hindi film "Love All," which starred Kay Kay Menon in the lead role. His participation in "75 CMOT" at the 53rd IFFI in Goa demonstrated his screenwriting abilities. His screenplay "Almost" made it into one of the five films produced in the 53-hour filmmaking competition and is currently available on ShortsTv. The public is excitedly awaiting Bhasker's highly anticipated feature debut, which is presently in the post-production stage.
