Bethany enjoys haunted manors, campy serial killers, second act libraries, and Lynchian small town darkness.
Bethany grew up on a cattle ranch in British Columbia's Cariboo country and began telling stories almost as soon as she could talk. From an early age, she knew she wanted to make movies--going so far as to wrangle her long-suffering friends and sister into many homemade productions over the years. Thankfully, most of these are considered lost media after being taped over with family memories.
Bethany briefly attended film school in Kelowna, BC in her early 20s; but withdrew from the program to spend more time with family. She continued to study film on her own time and continued to write as a hobby while working variously as a barista, administrator, and retail clerk. These jobs have given her an appreciation for absurdity in the mundane.
