Beth Evans is a director, producer and editor from Toronto, Canada. A theatre-school graduate, she spent her early years in the industry as a performer and theatre administrator. Beth launched Windrun Media in 2018, and since its inception, has focused her creative efforts on primarily directing and producing. Known for her calm demeanor, sense of humor, and clear vision, Beth has been offering creative content and high production value for a diverse range of subjects and platforms. Beth's first short film ‘The Bubble’ enjoyed a successful festival run in 2021/2022 garnering seven official selections and three awards including Best Foreign Comedy from the San Francisco Independent Short Film Festival and Audience Choice Award from YoFi Fest. She was also honoured with the Audience Choice Award for the 'The Bubble' at the Women in Film and Television's 2022 Showcase in Toronto. Her second short ‘Going Away Party’ also picked up a few awards before finding a home on CBC Gem. In 2022 Beth co-produced the short ‘Fashion is Hard’ for director Leah Cameron along with her first feature film in the producer role ‘Banned’ for director Reem Morsi. ‘Clementine’, completed in March 2024, is Beth’s third short as Director/Producer.
