Bolivian born actor. Raised in Northern California. 25 years acting experience. Started in theatre in Sacramento.
Moved to Southern California in 1999 and got his start in commercials and soap operas, Passions and Young & The Restless. Standout US TV performances include guest star on Law & Order and Numb3rs. Back in 2017, Bernardo starred in the Spanish language crime drama, The Drop (La Entrega), where he played an investigative reporter with a heart of gold, but battling inner demons -- one of his favorite jobs to date.
In film, Bernardo acted in Forgotten (Olvidados) a military drama dealing with military dictatorships of the 70s and 80s, in which he played the son of a retired general, played by legendary Mexican actor, Damian Alcazar. Bernardo also acted in Cielito Lindo, Curse of The Mayans, Everlasting, Vengeance: A Love Story, with Nicolas Cage, among others. In 2018, he had his first lead role in a feature film, playing George in Bring Me An Avocado.
Bernardo continues to work in TV, film, commercials, theatre and from time to time as a voice actor as well.
Most recently, he wrote, acted in and directed the short film, Qualified.
Bernardo's most important contribution to the world so far, proud father of three amazing kids -- Lucas, Diego and Lily.
