With just over twenty years of experience as a writer/performer, I began my writing journey by enrolling with The Second City, Las Vegas chapter. While training there, I also performed biweekly at their off-strip SET shows. During my improv training, I immersed myself in the underground theatre scene in Sin City before eventually venturing into the film and television world of Los Angeles.
Having an extensive background in Pencak Silat (Pen-chak See-Lot), a unique Indonesian-Malaysian martial art, I worked for years with stunt performers, choreographing countless fights for stage and screen. By 2008, I was working regularly in LA, eventually getting cast in shows like FOX’s The Mindy Project, BET’s Played By Fame and indie films like the throwback horror The Millennium Bug, as the titular monster.
After moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2021, I've enjoyed working in the PDX market with a few incredibly talented local filmmakers and am excited to collaborate with many more. Currently I'm in post-production on my first documentary film, Cowboy Poetry (2026) and am co-lead in James Chick’s (Grimm/Among Wolves) directorial debut, Feet of Death (2024). Represented theatrically in PDX by Harris Talent Agency.
When not performing or writing, I can probably be found time at home with my family, volunteering at local theatres or gardening.
