Every story begins with a first page. My story is no exception. I was born on the first morning of autumn in 1992, the years don’t seem long and yet I feel as if I have lived longer than I have. And yet when I reflect back on my 30 years worth of chapters, I can’t help but think it hasn’t been that long since I let go of my mothers hand. Who I am now doesn’t feel much different than who I was before and yet I know I am indeed different than who I was before. 

While my born day may be the late 1900s, these 30 years have gone by like short chapters and now a new one begins. One thing is for certain, I was born to be a writer, to search for a discover truth in every story presented to me and review it in a beautiful way that captivates and holds the attention of the masses. I wish to create pieces of art and life that will transcend language barriers and time. 

Being a Black American Woman, I have faced many obstacles, however that doesn’t deter me from continuing to move forward, to continue this book of life that I am on, page after page. I am truly blessed to be able to call myself a writer, an artist, a being with a gift of insight and that I am able to be acknowledged amongst peers, colleagues and classmates pursuing educational enlightenment. 

I am excited to take part in the new venture, as I continue to accomplish my career venture as the Founder & CEO of Anemoia Studios, while turning to a new page and starting a new chapter at Drake University. I look forward to achieving industry representation, this has been a life long dream that I look forward to coming true. I write drama, comedy, dramedy, romedy, romance, sci-fi, anime, animation, horror, music, lyrics & documentary treatment(s). I also; act, direct, produce, sing, song-write & compose music.
