Bastian Brunke was born on September 29, 1979, in Kassel. After graduating from high school in 2000 and completing a year of community service, he studied social sciences at the University of Göttingen. During his studies, he worked on the university's video team. In 2011, he founded the film production company EneMeneMovie GbR. In 2013, he became a founding member of the Göttingen Film Network e.V., an association of freelance filmmakers, actors, and film enthusiasts who initiate creative film projects on a voluntary basis. In 2015, Bastian Brunke co-founded KanalVier GbR.
