Barcelona Planet Film Festival

1. The Barcelona Planet Film Festival welcomes submissions in all forms and genres, embracing diversity in storytelling.

2. Filmmakers may submit multiple projects; however, each submission must be accompanied by a separate submission form and fee.

3. Submission fees are non-refundable.

4. Films produced in any year are eligible for submission—there are no restrictions regarding production date.

5. We accept submissions from filmmakers worldwide.

6. Quality is essential: Submissions must meet broadcast standards, including clean visuals (free of watermarks) and stable, smooth image quality.

7. Selected films must provide Spanish subtitles for public screenings if the original language is not Spanish or Catalan.

8. Selection guarantees that the work will be evaluated by the jury for the awards of the BPFF 11th edition; however, selection does not necessarily ensure public screening at the annual event.

9. All decisions made by the BPFF selection committee and jury are final and non-negotiable.

10. Submission status updates will be communicated through our designated submission platforms. Filmmakers are responsible for monitoring the status of their projects.

11. BPFF does not provide feedback on submitted films or on the jury’s deliberation process.

12. The Festival reserves the right to modify regulations, categories, or scheduling when necessary.

13. Submitted materials—such as film stills, posters, and descriptions—may be used for promotional purposes on the Festival’s website, social media channels, or press releases.

14. Filmmakers certify that they hold the full rights to the works submitted and agree to indemnify the Festival against any claims, legal disputes, or expenses arising from their participation.

15. By submitting a project, filmmakers accept all terms outlined in these regulations. Any disputes or issues not covered herein will be resolved by the organizing committee.
