  • Attending the Baltimore International Black Film Festival was an unforgettable experience that truly warmed our hearts. Set in the vibrant heart of Baltimore, the festival offered a welcoming and intimate atmosphere, with an audience that was engaged with every story presented.

The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the focus on Black stories from across the globe. It was inspiring to see diverse narratives being celebrated and rightfully given a platform. The festival's commitment to showcasing these important stories makes it a worthwhile cultural event.

The people we met added another layer to the experience. We were surrounded by incredible filmmakers, storytellers, and supporters, all unified by a shared passion for film and storytelling.

Receiving the best documentary award and the Oscar Micheaux Award for our film, TIME II: Unfinished Business, was a tremendous honor and a humbling acknowledgment of our hard work and dedication.
