This was an important festival for us. Thank you for including BELIEF in your 2025 program. We weren't able to attend due to Visa issues outside the country (living abroad) but we were very impressed. Well-organized and finely curated, we are proud to be a part of the BIBFF alumni-community. Cheers!

If you intend on showcasing your film to an audience in order to garner support, showcase your art, and build your network DO NOT submit to this festival. They run the festival out of an old, out of shape theater with damaged and dirty seats. And instead of projecting the films, they hook up an HDMI chord to their computers and press play leading to a sound delay to the actual theater speakers and a substantial drop in quality. When watching the films in our category movies would freeze, break down into pixels, and jump scenes due to the lag. It was incredibly disheartening to the artists who were there to have their art screened! The organizers will gladly take your money and do a disservice to you as an artist and to the audience watching it.

If you just want to put a sticker that costs $55 to put on your poster then go ahead and submit. That's all this festival is worth.

I only attended this festival for one day and I will start on a high note--the venue was awesome and the owner was a fantastic host! My film showed in a very early time slot in conjunction with a community event, which I didn't have a problem with, it just was not communicated properly that this was the case. I arrived early (before the festival organizers) and waited around for close to an hour before the owner of the theatre told me to go into the community event. The film block was scheduled for 10:30 but did not start until close to noon, due to the community event (which was very nice!!) and hardly anyone stayed for the show and the Q & A seemed like an afterthought.

Though the Stoop Stories team wasn't there in person, we were so with you in spirit and are super grateful that you included our film, "Stoop Chat with Maani & Mr. Sweat." We are honored to receive the Best Web Series award, as well!
