The Ovation International Art Film Festival is a global celebration of creativity that brings together the finest achievements in dance, music, theater, and cinema from around the world.
"Ovation" will unite leading professionals and rising voices from ballet, filmmaking, and music in one groundbreaking platform.
More than just a film festival, Ovation is a vibrant convergence of the performing and cinematic arts, culminating in an unprecedented cultural event and an exclusive award ceremony in New York City, honoring exceptional talent and artistic innovation across disciplines.
In addition to screenings, the festival will feature a dynamic series of Master Classes, Q/A sessions, and special educational programs with renowned actors, filmmakers, choreographers,composers, musicians, and dancers.

The best films will be shown at the live event.
All films selected for the Festival are eligible for the following awards. An independent award jury will choose winners.

Rules & Terms

GENERAL RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE FILM COMPETITION

— All films dedicated to ballet or the fate of ballet dancers will be reviewed.
— The films should be released in 2022 or later.

— Films with dialogue must have English subtitles.

— The individual or production company providing the film hereby guarantees that they have cleared all necessary copyrights, including any fundamental rights, for the provision of this film and its supporting materials and will protect the Ballet, the Film Festival Support Fund from any third-party claims.

— By submitting your film, ballet, the Film Festival Support Fund hereby receives the right to use any submitted materials, including videos and photographs, to promote the 2025 festival and for the future institutional promotion of ballet, the Film Festival Support Fund.

— After submission, the film cannot be withdrawn for any reason.
