  • It felt like the evil black magic that I was hoping it'd be.

Fantastic festival! They did it all online this year, and had the most professional host, transitions, interviews I've seen in a festival. Great job to the whole team over there!

  • The BMC Fest was well-organized, efficient, and had a wonderfully curated selection of short films - grateful to have been selected in their company. The limited staff graciously took on a big job of viewing all the submitted films during covid-19, marketed and shared filmmakers works - both those selected and the finalists, and are building a well-rounded community for filmmakers. The prize pool was fantastic with major sponsors, and the awards were determined by a legitimate jury pool. Not only should you submit to the fest next year, but you should also join the collective (free) and take advantage of the programs they offer!
