ELIGIBILITY
All individuals worldwide who self-identify as women, trans women, or non-binary people and who appear in the role of director of the submitted short film are eligible to participate. In the case of works directed by more than one person, at least 50% of the directing team must self-identify as women, trans women, and/or non-binary people.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
· All works must be submitted through the enabled platforms*. Only pieces completed after January 1, 2025, will be accepted.
· The duration must not exceed 25 minutes (including credits).
· A maximum of (1) work per person will be accepted.
· All works must include a private link and password for viewing.
· The works must be unpublished and not commercially exhibited on television or publicly distributed online.
· All works whose original language is not Spanish must be subtitled in English, including those in English. All selected works must provide the festival organization with subtitles in Spanish and English. Otherwise, the film may be disqualified.
· Selected authors will be asked for (1) copy of the film in one of the following formats for screening: ProRes HQ & H.264.
· Works previously submitted to the festival and/or selected in previous editions will not be accepted.
· Music videos or advertising spots will not be accepted.
· Minors under 18 must include the name and contact information of a parent or guardian in the registration form.
*The official platforms enabled for submission are Festhome and Filmfreeway.
SUBMISSION FEES
All short films must pay a non-refundable registration fee of 5€.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Each submitted work must be accompanied by the following information:
- Original title and English title
- Full name of the director(s)
- Year of production
- Duration
- Brief synopsis
- 4 still images from the film
- Film poster
- Photo of the director(s)
- Brief bio-filmography of the author(s)
- Private online link and password for the short film
- .srt file of subtitles in Spanish
- .srt file of subtitles in English
- Downloadable trailer or clip
LEGAL TERMS
Registration in Bendita Tú implies acceptance of the terms and conditions presented here, whose interpretation and application correspond to the festival organization.
After accepting the invitation, films cannot be withdrawn from the program. The decisions of the Selection Committee will be final.
Bendita Tú informs participants that all personal data provided by users will be treated in accordance with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights.
The rights holder of the short film authorizes the free reproduction of images and excerpts (maximum 1 minute) of their short film in press, television, and publications for the promotion of each showcase.
Participating filmmakers assume authorship of their works and commit to not presenting audiovisual, phonographic, musical, or image materials for which they do not have duly accredited usage rights. The organization is not responsible for the improper use of intellectual property rights by the authors of the works.
The organization reserves the right to adapt the festival to an online format, and acceptance of these terms implies the consent of the authors.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
The submission deadline is March 15 at 23:59 (11:59 PM) Central European Time (CET), inclusive.
Selected films will be announced via email and on our social media channels no later than May 1, 2026. We may not be able to notify applicants whose films are not selected for the festival program.

PARTICIPANTES
Todas las personas que se autodeterminen mujeres, trans y no binaries de cualquier país del mundo que aparezcan en el rol de dirección del cortometraje enviado. En caso de obras dirigidas por más de una persona, al menos el 50% de deberán autodeterminarse como mujeres, mujeres trans y/o personas no binarias.
REQUISITOS DE PARTICIPACIÓN
· Todas las obras deberán enviarse a través de las plataformas habilitadas a tal fin*. Solo se aceptarán piezas que hayan sido concluidas después del 15 de enero de 2025.
· La duración no será superior a 25 minutos (créditos incluidos).
· Se aceptará hasta un máximo de (1) obras por persona.
· Todas las obras deberán incluir enlace privado y contraseña para su visualización.
· Las obras deben ser inéditas y no exhibidas comercialmente en televisión ni distribuidas públicamente por Internet.
· Todas las piezas cuyo idioma original no sea el español deberán estar subtituladas al inglés, incluidas aquellas en inglés. Todas las piezas seleccionadas se comprometen a proporcionar a la organización del festival subtítulos en español e inglés. En caso contrario la película podría ser descalificada.
· Se pedirá a las autoras seleccionadas (1) copia de la película en cualquiera de los siguientes formatos para su proyección: ProRes HQ o H.264.
· No se aceptarán obras enviadas previamente al festival y/o seleccionadas en ediciones anteriores.
· No se aceptarán videoclips ni spots publicitarios.
· Las menores de 18 años deberán incluir en la ficha de inscripción el nombre de la madre/padre o tutor/a y la información de contacto.
* Las plataformas oficiales habilitadas para el envío de las obras serán Festhome y Filmfreeway.
TASAS DE INSCRIPCIÓN
Todos los cortometrajes deberán abonar una tasa de inscripción no reembolsable de 5€.
FICHA TÉCNICA
Cada obra presentada debe acompañarse de la siguiente información:
· Título original y en inglés
· Nombre y apellidos de lx directorx
· Año de producción
· Duración
· Sinopsis breve
· 4 imágenes de la película
· Póster de la película
· Foto de lx/s directorx/s
· Breve biofilmografía de lx/s autorx/s
· Enlace privado online y contraseña del cortometraje
· Archivo .srt de subtítulos en español.
· Archivo .srt de subtítulos en inglés.
· Trailer o fragmento descargable.
TÉRMINOS LEGALES
La inscripción en Bendita Tú implica la aceptación de las presentes bases y condiciones aquí presentadas, cuya interpretación y aplicación corresponde a la organización del festival.
Después de aceptar la invitación, las películas no podrán ser retiradas de la programación del ciclo. Los fallos del Comité de Selección serán inapelables.
Bendita Tú pone en conocimiento de las participantes que todos los datos de carácter personal aportados por las personas usuarias serán tratados de acuerdo a la Ley Orgánica 3/2018, de 5 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos Personales y garantía de los derechos digitales.
Quien posea los derechos del cortometraje autoriza la libre reproducción de imágenes e insertos (máximo 1 minuto) de su cortometraje en prensa, televisión y publicaciones en la promoción de cada muestra.
Las realizadoras participantes asumen la autoría de sus obras y se comprometen a no presentar materiales audiovisuales, fonográficos, musicales y de imagen sobre los cuales no tengan derechos de uso debidamente acreditados. La organización no se hace responsable del uso inadecuado de los derechos de la propiedad intelectual de los autores y autoras de las obras.
La organización se reserva el derecho de adaptar el festival a formato online, la aceptación de estas bases implica el consentimiento de las autoras.
FECHA DE INSCRIPCIÓN
La fecha límite de inscripción es el 15 de marzo a las 23:59 (11:59 PM) horario de invierno de Europa Central (CEST), inclusive.
Las películas seleccionadas serán anunciadas vía email y en nuestras redes no más tarde del 1 de mayo de 2026. Es posible que no podamos notificar a las solicitantes cuyas películas enviadas no fueron seleccionadas para el programa del festival.
