RICHARD CHIZMAR and BILLY CHIZMAR are the father and son writing team
responsible for the highly acclaimed novella, Widow’s Point, which will be released
as a feature film in 2019. They have written several original short films together
including Gone and Murder House. Billy’s recent directorial efforts include Gone,
Murder House, and the forthcoming Trapped (which is based on a story idea by
Stephen King and Richard).
Richard is a New York Times bestselling author and the co-author (with
Stephen King) of Gwendy’s Button Box. Billy’s short fiction has sold to numerous
anthologies, including Dead Harvest, Fearful Fathoms, and the forthcoming Midnight
Under the Big Top. He is a Junior at Colby College in Maine where he is majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing and minoring in Cinema Studies.
