Azael Bueno is a first generation Colombian American who grew up in and out of the states. His experience working on film sets in NYC ignited his interest in writing and directing. Azael has described film as one of the most immersive art forms as he draws inspiration from the Italian Neorealism movement, The French New Wave as well as Contemporary American Cinema. His directing style is often defined as stark & bleak.
