Aviv Kaufman has a B.A from Sapir College in Film and Television and is a graduate course at Idit Schory's school of screenwriting. Kaufman, Specializes in directing, screenwriting and video editing.
During his studies he directed and coordinated the "Social Cinema" project - a project that empowers youth and children groups in Sderot and communities surrounding the Gaza Strip, using cinema as a tool and method of learning.
As part of a special pilot, he founded and taught cinema at the Gottwirth High School in cooperation with the Sderot Municipality and Sapir College.
In addition, he was accepted to Sapir College's first "incubator project" as the youngest graduate and works on his first feature film.
