I grew up in the 70s in a small industrial town in Bihar, on the borders of West Bengal; close to big-city Calcutta, but not quite. Childhood meant books, silence, stray dogs, the sound of passing freight trains in hot summer afternoons, and endless skies.
I did my later school and college in Delhi and discovered by accident that I liked storytelling. That instinct landed me in television, and I waded through the media and the corporate world for more than two decades. I am fifty now and continue to exist in, what I would like to believe, a meaningful way.
